MDHI (MD Helicopers Inc.) began manufacturing helicopters when it was established in 1948 as Hughes Aircraft. Since 1999, it runs by the name MD Helicopters. Its production line is now located in Arizona and Texas in US, and also in Mexico.

With over 2,600 MDHI made helicopters flying around the globe today, MDHI have answered to the needs of its clients for over many decades. The MD helicopter series provide high performance and reliability, yet its operating costs remain extremely economical.
